Joe Johnson Expects to Return Wednesday

Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Johnson has missed four games in a row with a sore left heel. Before the game against the Utah Jazz, Joe Johnson was out shooting a few jumpers for the first time since being out. After the loss, Joe Johnson was interviewed in the locker room to talk about his progress and when he expects to return.

When asked about if he expects a return to the court by the end of the week, Johnson replied with:
"That's what we're pushing for. We'll take these next couple of days off and I'll still be in the gym working getting back healthy and we'll see how it goes."
The question right after asked if he had plans to return on Wednesday, when the Nets take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena in Ohio. Joe Johnson merely said "yeah".

For the season, Johnson is averaging just 16.4 points on a near-career low of 42.3%. He is also dishing out 3.6 assists and grabbing 3.1 rebounds per game.
